LOL,
wrisomifu. For those who can't hack NaNoWriMo, there is Write Something You Miserable Fuck! Never mind novels or fic, just do 10 minutes a day of whatever crap you can possibly squeeze out.
...How sad is it that I know I can't even do that? (because despite it being permitted, I know you don't want 10 minutes a day of shopping lists.)

Date: October 23rd, 2009 12:08 pm (UTC)From:She also mentions the "Artist's Date", which is a once a week excursion, alone, and with no errands involved, just to do something that you consider fun. I prefer to think of them as "a date with the Muse", but it's the same thing, and I find it so incredibly energizing! Yesterday I went to an art exhibit that I wanted to see, and got an idea for my next series there. It's kind of like writing the morning pages is cleaning out the refuse and making room for the new stuff you get on the Artists Date.
Anyway, if you want the extra copy of the book that I have, I would be glad to send it to you. Just PM me your address.

It's great that this has worked for you and Samantha but I think it should be apparent from the comments (and the original post) that such a book would only frustrate and depress me.
