discussing crossover week on [livejournal.com profile] snape100, which has spawned much wonderful crack:

enotsola says:
There needs a dead like me one..
enotsola says:
because Snape and Mandy Patinkin would be awesome
Eironeia Ainsworth says:
heh
enotsola says:
also, I can totally see Snape becoming a reaper when he dies..
Eironeia Ainsworth says:
heh
enotsola says:
bah!
enotsola says:
How can this many people I kill not have SKULLS? [switching gears to Warcraft, there, trying to collect skulls which don't always drop after a kill]
Eironeia Ainsworth says:
...Professor?
Eironeia Ainsworth says:
*giggles*
enotsola says:
*blink* oh my!
Eironeia Ainsworth says:
well, you said reaping
Eironeia Ainsworth says:
Although i think it wold have been phrased more like, "In life I often fervently wished to be rid of people whose skulls had nothing inside, but it seems I should have recked more carefully with the perversity of the universe, which has apparently chosen to rectify the situation by bestowing the reverse problem upon me. *casually flourishes the scythe* "

This is me totally failing to keep the words reined in for my [livejournal.com profile] perposterice 3 x 100 challenge prompt ("The Weasley twins and the Pillar of Chaos"), and I'm scrapping it for that, but I kind of like it on its own as a little fragment:

------

Detention with Filch -- again. Fred and George usually weren't fussed; to them, nights like this were just an opportunity to wind Filch up even more, if they could manage it. Unfortunately, on this occasion, they'd been assigned the mind-numbing task of sorting through massive stacks of parchment in Filch's office, in silence. They had been at it for going on four eye-rubbing hours when they at last heard the sound of opportunity. Usually, it knocked, or tapped at least, but in this case it seemed to be snoring.

Cheers, Filch, thought George, and looked at Fred expectantly. Fred wiggled his eyebrows in response, and they both rose and began poking quietly around the room. Reading peeling labels attached to the wooden drawers of what looked like an ancient bureau, George lit on something promising. Glancing momentarily at Filch, he whispered as quietly as he could: "Fred! Hey, Fred!" When Fred turned to look, George ran his finger under the words on the label: "Confiscated and Highly Dangerous".

"Should we, Fred?" mouthed George. "Should we, George?" mouthed Fred back at him.

The twins smiled in unison, then whispered together, " 'Course we should."

------

I like the idea of opportunity snoring. That just amuses me...
