I'm [livejournal.com profile] shyfoxling on LiveJournal. I did not rename that account to match this one on 1/16/2024 because I didn't want to give LJ money and didn't feel safe doing so.

How to create/confirm email address on an OpenID account (such as those created by someone importing their LJ with comments) if for some reason you don't want to make a DW account.

Note on circling: I don't read absolutely everyone I give access to. (Obviously, I also don't give access to everyone I subscribe to, but that's kind of the point of the split system.) It's fairly rare, but it may be the case that while I don't mind you having access to my locked content (not that there's much), you don't write the kind of fic I'm personally interested in, or whatever. I'm also not currently reading everyone I gave access to in the past, but by the same token haven't unfriended them because I don't mind them seeing the few locked posts I make.

This journal began life as primarily a Harry Potter fan journal and it's pretty much solely that prior to November 2014. After that point there started to be some Doctor Who content as well as occasional posts about other fandoms, but I didn't write in any of them nor in Harry Potter any more. I got into Monkey Island in the fall of 2021, but nobody seems to have heard of that here, alas. I do post some Monkey Island stuff, but if you want more, I suggest following my Tumblr [tumblr.com profile] arcanetrivia where there's generally one Monkey Island-related post per day. Or, because in light of persistent rumors of Tumblr's imminent demise (Yet Again), although I'm not sure how many people would really come to Dreamwidth if it really did sink, in April 2025 I created a community for Monkey Island: [community profile] monkeyisland (aren't I clever?).
