So I had a REALLY AWESOME TIME at the Witches and Wizards Tea Party at slashpervert's place this afternoon, which was only scheduled to run 2-5 pm, but which I didn't leave until about 9 pm. The world is very small, because I was not previously consciously aware that she is uncledark's wife (someone I know from elsewhere, as well as his girlfriend, um, I think artistic_chaos is her LJ name), and elfwreck was also in attendance, so I didn't feel as weird as I might otherwise have done. (Then again, sitting in a room that was at least half bi-poly-pagan-geek folks may have had something to do with it, even though I am only two or two and a half of those things myself.) Overall it was a household I already had a vague acquaintance with, only I didn't know it when I drove to the given address and knocked on the door. So yeah, good tea and good eats and plenty of talking shop on writing fanfic, hating on DH, squeeing about Azkatraz, and yadda.
