Property of the Half-Blood Prince
This one is a jewel among jewels: a restoration of a certain student's annotated Potions text. Page after page of it, very cleverly written (obviously taking a lot of cues from alchemy as we know it), with everything from Severus's canon notes and spells to other interesting additions to spider and bat doodles to games of noughts and crosses. (Warning: includes a drawing of animal innards in the context of dissection.)
Come Here (WS unless there's a problem with a naked chest)
Now THAT is what I call a come-hither look!!
Severus Snape, a Teacher
Definitely an Alan Rickman look (artist says it's a "tribute") but it has her own touch as well; he's recognizable but not a clone, if that makes sense (for one thing, he's much younger than current 60+ Rickman). Has a smoky, aged-gothic kind of colour palette I like.
Raindrops
Young Severus in the rain. I like his eyes especially -- there is a hint of loneliness but mostly he looks hollow, like he's practicing the "cold tunnels" Harry described.
The Heart of Everything
SS/LE shippers can now die happy. *flails and squees incoherently*
Diminutive Severus: A Wizard's Adventures With Magicians
verus_janus (
janus on IJ) outdid herself here. She made a doll despite lack of sewing experience, which is impressive enough, but it hardly stops there. He's got his own journal and a diary of his adventures with his maker.
The Wrath of Minerva McGonagall
Cool illustration of Severus taking shelter behind a suit of armor against Minerva's flying daggers ("The Sacking of Severus Snape").
A Tragic Love in Seven Pairs of Shoes
Such a neat idea.
sigune manages to tell a story with just four simple pictures of Severus and Lily's shoes. I adore the skull charm on his 1978 boots.
One Peaceful Moment
A peaceful moment indeed; I'm a little in love with the bit of a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth as he sleeps.
