Here are a few of my favorites - hope you'll like them!
1) The Prefect's Portrait by Arsinoe de Blassenville is a lovely SS/HG with a little Lily thrown in, done up as a beautiful Art Nouveau e-book by Ren Hen Publications, here: http://www.redhen-publications.com/files_to_post/Publications/Portrait.pdf
2)The Shrivenshraft's Book by Unknown Author is my latest favorite SS/HG from the current sshg_exchange. A truly lovely story, plotty mystery, sweet ending! http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/252197.html
3)The Janus Rose by RichardGloucester is perhaps my favorite Severus gen fic of all time. It's so very beautiful, but it will make you weep through the whole thing, so keep the tissues handy! http://severus-shorts.livejournal.com/10411.html
4)My Name is Cameron Sage by thesewarmstars . Teh Snarry isn't usually my cuppa; suspending disbelief is very hard for me when it comes to these two. But this one gets it right: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4442117/1/My_Name_is_Cameron_Sage
5)A Troublesome Transition By McKay and Arionrhod is a SS/RL that is one of the co-authors' best works, from my point of view. It's more about the characters themselves than anything between them, though that does come into play by the end. It's a *very* intriguing plot about the afterlife and their place in it: http://remembrall.slashcity.net/viewstory.php?sid=512
6)My Journal About My Life and Stephen and Miranda by KellyChambliss is a *fabulous* story about SS/MMcG after the war, seen through the eyes of the 12 year old girl they move next door to. There's even a sequel at the same fest the following year. Both are brilliantly witten, brilliantly fun and deeply touching. http://severusb4.livejournal.com/26091.html and http://severusbigbang.livejournal.com/48271.html#cutid1
6) One last one that I couldn't resist, even though you said no rare pairs; you won't be sorry if you read The Conjugal State by atdelphi. I laughed my way through the whole thing, it is such brilliantly and sympathetically written comedy. SS/AF should simply *not* work, and yet, here it does. And you'll be left with a grin that will take some time to go away. http://asylums.insanejournal.com/hp_beholder/44687.html
There - that ought to keep you busy for awhile! ::g:: Anything else SS you've got a taste for, let me know - I've got a zillion of 'em. :-D
