This isn't something I'm into. I think the only RPS I've read all the way through was a Blixa Bargeld/Nick Cave. (Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds)

First fanfiction I read that made me think, 'YES, this is exactly the kind of fanfiction I'd like to write...':
Oboy. Um, maybe something at the Thin Line archive, since that's where I got into Harry Potter slash.

I don't. I mean, I sure have sometimes, but I couldn't point you to a title. It was almost certainly Severus/Sirius, though.

Ummm gichigami? Although actually I hadn't already met her out on the net, we just happened to be in the same elevator at Azkatraz and I looked her up on LJ afterwards. So aside from that, maybe people who showed up to the Sev/Lily meetup I did at that con, kind of en masse? (incl pennswoods, tjs_whatnot, fiendish_thingy and a bunch of people I'm forgetting were there.. ha)

I've never done this (well, in fandom terms anyway) and my "cosplay" isn't of specific characters, just Random Ravenclaw Student #928, so. Yeah.
