What doesn't he believe in? Birthdays? I can assure him that they exist, as I just keep getting older by increments. That they can be happy? Well... they CAN be, depending on so many factors. I find that they seldom live up to one's expectations. The trick, I guess, is to have no expectations. That's always been difficult for me. Perhaps it's happiness itself that he doesn't believe in? *Sighs* Okay... he's got me on that one. Happiness is an ideal, and it's fleeting at best.
