Happy birthdays to rattlesnakeroot (today) and lampblack, whom I saw how many times on Friday and yet forgot to take a moment to felicitate? *facepalm* I plead having my head mainly focused on my Sev/Lily meetup and on the Snape meetup.

Well, I only just got through most of my internet yesterday (and that was about oh... ten hours' worth? something? and that's with having had the chance to catch up on this journal's flist a bit on Sunday while Gord had a migraine), so it may not be until Friday that I'll actually get a chance to put together an update. Short story, the whole con, I had a reasonably good time but felt very left out a lot of the time; SS/LE was okay but the venue (which I had not been to before) was not ideal either for my expectation of 10-12 people (although we could have made it work) nor for the 36-40 who eventually turned up; Snape meetup was pretty good, although the wine was startlingly expensive after the first glass which was included; despite thinking I was hearing a certain someone rather loudly when we arrived (so many believers in the same place will do that), in truth he seems to me to have been mostly as absent as he has been for the past two months (about this, more later).

Oh wow, 36-40 people at the SS/LE meetup is good though, right? The unfortunately inadequate venue aside, of course. I would have thought it would be much less, so that is sort of nice to see.

And if it is of any encouragement at all, my friend has been rather absent lately himself, erratically in and out. Not sure why. I'm trying not to worry about it, but you know...

Totally off topic and weird as well as random, your mentioning Gord's migraine made me remember that starting in the last part of the HBP movie (I would say around the part where Harry and Dumbles go to the cave) I got a migraine, and it continued on into the next day and all of that day, and was the worst migraine I have had in over a year. Not sure what that was about, though. It just struck me as odd (there's more to the story too, but I'll email you about that if you want to know more).

Well, yeah; I get the sense I've been left out of a lot of happenings lately between you and mybreathingself and Mimi and to a lesser degree Sempra (not that Sempra has ever spoken to me anyway).

Oh no! *hug* I'm sorry. Like I said, I feel so bad about last year and how I burdened you with all my heavy stuff. That just wasn't fair, and since things continued to be heavy for most of this year, I find it hard to find the balance between burdening you with useless information and making you feel excluded. I'm so crap at that sort of thing. I'll email you in just a bit, okay.
