No kidding. I'll admit I didn't actually cry over Severus either on the first reading, but then I had gone into it knowing what was going to happen (I am not a person who minds spoilers). But Harry's little ordeal had hardly any emotional impact on me whatsoever. You know the ones I choked up at? Dobby -- not so much the death, but the funeral proceedings, cheesy as they were; Harry digging the grave by hand affected me -- and Fred, where I could just imagine George's terrible grief at being torn from his twin brother.
