Ah, good answers. I was never one for "big birthdays" either. Turning 20 was probably my biggest since there were some things at that time I really hoped to have accomplished by them. Now, not so much. There's time enough for everything I need to do. And what I don't get done must not have been something I was meant to do.
I like that you can acknowledge that you romanticize Snape. Some people assure me it's 100% canon!Snape they love, which seems a bit unlikely. Primarily because we really don't have a lot of information beyond what we see from Harry's rather biased pov and Jo's limited one. But he really is larger than life and totally made of win. ;D

You seem amazingly patient. Engaged since 2001? I suppose there really isn't much that can be done to speed up red tape, but I would find that to be a very frustrating experience. And I'm not sure I'm built for long-distance relationships even with frequent visits. I'm naturally very demanding and high maintenance though almost no one believes it of me when I say it.
