lunylucy, this morning's events have put the lie to what I told you about only two Potter-related dreams. This morning there was a third, although related only in that certain characters and actors appeared (like the one you described, it was a rather bizarre assortment of images and events). Vignettes therefrom:
- Adult Harry, James II (who looked totally wrong) at 8 years old, me, and a crazy Asian lady driver (I say this not to be disparaging, but because she was all three of these things, and because that's how the omniscient narrator described her in the dream, too) in a Mercedes, driving off a freeway onramp onto a packed moist dirt surface, rough, potholed. Crazy driver lady said something about it being the set of a Bruce Lee film. Let me tell you, Mercedes sedans are not made for offroading excitement.
- Gas costing $5.55 a gallon. (What is this, the UK?)
- Fanvid of still shots of Alan Rickman doing ADR for the Harry Potter movies, edited together with a music track, for some reason all in cyan tone, and whether because of the way they did the contrast or just because my brain is weird this way, he looked about thirty in all of them. (WHAT. I don't know if such photos even exist. If they did, someone would surely have made this video already *snerk*.)
- Owning a copy of Deathly Hallows (I don't -- fuck shelling out $35 for that. I need to buy a used copy), but it wasn't all orange, it was ... green, I think? (but not like the cover for HBP either.) Maybe it was one of the "undressed books" Lily and Severus agreed were superior *giggles*.
- Piece de resistance: Fanart of a notional album cover of a folk/psychedelic 60s guitar act called "Clockstopper", featuring a twentysomething Severus. (Again, WHAT. Although according to Urban Dictionary, and I have never heard of this before now, "clockstopper" is an actual word, and means someone so ugly they can stop a clock. Oh Severus, quit it with the self-deprecation kthxbye.)
