A/N: This is way off-key from your usual Snack, far too romantic if you ask me. This must be some kind of random AU Sirius who can talk in swirling poetic sentences. Don't blame me, blame him.

I forget, somehow, that my fingers are still sticky from the drops of honey you have been taking from them with slow and tender licks and sucks; as I, entranced, move to brush your hair from your cheek, I leave a tacky golden fingerprint behind. I smile and softly lick the spot of sweetness from the bone, and you laugh.

Black eyes turn towards grey, new moon and full, your depths absorbing whatever shines from mine. For so I'm told they do, and told I am, shining, a bright new-drawn sword, a white stallion whose coat flashes and ripples in the sunlight, my black mane best India ink against it all.

But though the mane is black indeed (I feel your fingers in it now, stroking, gripping), that's all there is for me: no white coat, but only black; no horse, but rather hound, ever your faithful one, and I will harry and defend in your name, for your love.

Your mouth tastes of the endless labours of the bees.

OOHhhhhh! I can officially say that I have never read any Severus/Sirius, but I LOVED this! Very gripping- I love the imagery and descriptions that you use! Great job! =)

Well, actually, I have read a limited amount of fics. In fact, the only pairings I HAVE read are: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Lily/James, and Harry/Draco (and now, Sirius/Snape). I've of course heard of a lot of other pairings, and I ship Sirius/Remus as well as Remus/Tonks- though I don't THINK I've read any fics about either of them. I'm not entirely sure though.
I think Sirius/Severus is one of the more unlikely pairings (in terms of canon), although of course it can be done. I used to wonder what the heck people were thinking who shipped Harry/Draco, but now I have in fact become a Harry/Draco shipper (and a fairly crazed one at that!). So there is hope yet for me to become a Sirus/Snape shipper. =)
Actually, I love shipping people together. I'm open to read about almost any pairings. The only pairings I don't touch currently are incestuous and also Harry/Ron. Everything else I'm game for. =)
And one last word- I'm happy to ship Snape/anyone. I love Snape. Mostly because of Alan Rickman. =)

Oh, Severus/Sirius is definitely unlikely in canon terms. That's one of the things that makes it so fun. ;) It was the first Harry Potter pairing I read, actually. None of the ones I read most are canon, actually, except maybe Severus/Lily. My favourites are Sev/Lily, Sev/Regulus, and Sev/Sirius, although I will also read him with Harry, Draco (or both), Lucius, and even James (although it's hard to avoid abuse/rape in that one). I'm not big on Severus/Remus although I do read a few selections from Snupin Santa every year. I also sample a little Harry/Draco but it's such a big ship I just don't have time to get into it. I can't feed on a steady diet of it the way I can with Severus/various people. Sirius/Regulus is a guilty pleasure, especially if it's actually Sirius/Regulus/Severus, and then there's always Severus/Lily/Sirius or Severus/Lily/Regulus...

I know, there are so many pairing options!
I think I'd like Snape/Sirius, Snape/Regulus, and Snape/Harry out of the ones that you listed. I agree that it may be hardest to see Snape with James (among the other Mauraders).
Oh, and I forgot- I already like Snape/Lily. Funny how people shipped it before Book 7 and then it became canon....
As much as the idea of threesomes amuses and pleases me, I don't usually read about them in fics. When you listed the three people pairings here, are those actual threesomes or just love triangles? Just curious....
