To celebrate the fact that at long last, after three years and about two and a half months of digging myself ever deeper into time debt, I have an empty "to read" folder (except for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fire_everything's Advanced Potion-Making, but that hasn't been there long) and will hopefully henceforth be able to keep it manageable with a queue of no more than a few fics at a time, have a couple straggling recs:

London winter is remarkably cold, and so is Severus Snape: cold, alone, and dirt poor - all by choice. However, Severus begins to doubt the brilliance of that choice when he unexpectedly runs into an old acquaintance.
My comment: "What an excellent last line. I liked the gentle tone of this fic and the motif of the coats running through it, like a symbol for their similarities."
