I consolidated my various Snape drabbles and fragments into a single chaptered story on FFN, and added some chapters of stuff from recent
snape100 prompts. I got this anon review:
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to read something GOOD on this site! [*]
You are talented beyond words.
I really enjoyed ''Softer'', very well written (as were ALL the chapters)
The variation of the lengths of your sentences was very effective.
Not only can you write any genre, but you can write them all WELL.
Very touching (if rather fulsome, IMO a tad out of proportion to my actual skill), but I don't think I even attempt "all genres", much less "write them well"? I think everything I've written falls into gen, angst, humour, and romance, and I'm working on a PWP. That leaves out drama, action, hurt/comfort... a lot of things. *shrug*
* - Heh heh, well, yes, FFN can be a bit of afreakshow free-for-all. I've faved 32 good fics there since August, though, and that's even within my rather narrow reading preferences, which can be oversimplified as "my little neurons don't want none unless it's got Snape, hon".
