This was a big (well, medium-sized) mess of warm fuzzy (feathery?) Alan-Rickmany fun. This week's challenge is "Crossover", and I pleaded in a comment for someone to do Dogma.
nimrod_9 and
bluestocking79 picked up on it and wrote me Metatron/Severus drabbles. (bluestocking79's; nimrod_9's.) So, of course, as soon as I complained that I had tried and failed, bingo, I had 200 words.

Thanks
nimrod_9 and
bluestocking79; yours were great. But after I posted the fragment I had thought of this morning in a comment on the second one, I found more words. So here's my take. A nice golden trio ;)
Challenge #202: Crossover Snape
Title: The Voice and the Fire
Word Count: 100 x 2
Rating: PG
Characters: Severus Snape, the Metatron
Notes: Crossover with Dogma. Hint of Catholic!Severus.
Behold the Metatron, herald of the Almighty...
"...and voice of the one true God, yes, yes," snapped Severus. "Some of us did trouble ourselves to go beyond the basics of catechism."
"Well, well. Such a cheerful disposition you have, Severus. It must be a bloody delight waking up to yourself every morning."
In truth, Severus had been rather taken aback by what seemed to be almost his own voice making that announcement, and resorted to his usual defense. Severus had always thought his voice rich and authoritative, by turns sinister or sensual, one of his few features he liked. Now, however, he could see that as impressive as it was, there had been room for improvement. Must be a benefit of being the Voice of God, Severus thought with irritation at being outclassed. Although the wings don't hurt the effect either.
"I must say, though," the Metatron continued with slightly less vinegar, "that I'm disappointed I didn't stun any of the wind out of your superbly sarcastic sails with the fiery entrance. Such a classic, that one. Usually so reliable."
Severus smirked, his eyes flicking to the pot of Floo powder on the mantel. "Already accustomed to it, I'm afraid."
