Last night my cast of dream characters expanded to include Sirius. Mid-thirties, I would say. Some similarities to Gary Oldman (a similar haircut; a jacket kind of like this one but not stripy and kind of a dark brick red or maroon colour), but not a copy. I'm always glad when my subconscious comes up with looks for the characters that aren't the movie actors (not that I would turn down a dream with a Hopkins!Severus in it).
Anyway, in the dream Sirius was really rather a nice and even kind of mellow guy, with a comforting "don't worry, I'm here with you, we can get through this" vibe to him, especially in the way he squeezed my hand before we went off to do whatever dangerous thing we were about to do. (We were on the roof of a city building with a few other people for some reason -- it made sense in the plot of the dream.)
Given the Sirius of that age we see in the books, "Who are you and what have you done with Sirius Black?!" is my first response. ;)
