name change. again.
Yeah, well. I got problems. What of it? I finally felt in my gut that grandiose names like "esmestrella" and "elethian" aren't for me.
shyfoxling (shy foxling) technically exceeds my limit of two syllables, but I think it's simple enough and something that's not that likely to go out of my mental style.

Shy_foxling sounds rather cute, actually. What made you decide to pick that username in particular? Do you have a soft spot for foxes?

That too. I tried to pick something I wasn't ashamed of, that was likely to stay relatively true, and that I didn't feel silly attaching fanfic to or imagining people calling me by (e.g. at a con).

The reason I picked MimiManderly for myself is so that I wouldn't HAVE to change it. Since it's a combination of my name (Mimi) and the name of my "estate" *cough* (Manderly), I figured I'd be less apt to have to change it if my interests ever changed. Hell, I never even changed my last name when I got married. It's odd that I can change my appearance or the decor of my home at the drop of a hat, but I'm adamant about my name. Ah, well, we all have our quirks.

I always felt like people would be expecting something different from names like that.
