From the "Ask Snape" segment:
"...I am a man of honour. Had the Advanced Potions-Making book indeed been written by someone other than myself, the cover would have been marked appropriately to give each author credit. For example: Property of the Half-Blood Prince and the red-headed know-it-all who doesn't know what she's missing."
LOL! Indeed.
But then:
(question from listener) "Had she been willing, do you think you could have been reconciled to a friendship with the adult Lily, even after she had married James?"
" [with increasing irritation] Quite frankly, my personal feelings are none of your concern. I suppose I owe this ludicrous question to Ms. Rowling's penchants for exaggeration and melodrama, so in the hopes of putting this issue behind me once and for all, I will say this:
When I said 'always' --
[softly] I meant it."
Cue me pausing to, like, cry. Tugging on the heartstrings, yo.
From the Top 10 (things to do once the regular Snapecasts end):
"4. Play The Birthday Party's 'Release the Bats' over and over and over and develop a theory about how JK Rowling based the Severus Snape character on Nick Cave."
Hey -- "Black Hair" and "Green Eyes". 'nuff said. Although I suppose Severus is more of a good seed than a bad one. ;)
...Wow, SnapeFest filled up in like a single day. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. You lucky 50! (Not that I was going to Portus anyway.)
