I really can't believe you did that... but since you did...
Those first pictures had such a strong Severus vibe, I wasn't sure if they were you or your husband, till I got to the last picture. ;-) With your hair dyed like that, I think you look more like (book) Severus than your husband. (ETA: Mind you, I'm saying that as a good thing, as in, androgynous and slightly goth Severus, not EeewUgly!Severus.) And your husband's hair didn't look greasy to me in that picture. So much for Greasy Git PR!
I dyed my hair black this summer, but it's very short and has blue highlights, so it doesn't look anything like Severus. Then again, neither do I, except for having a big nose and crooked, yellowing teeth. YAY for being over 40.

Oh ha ha. I'll give you a hint: he's the one with the penis. :P lilyevans_snape once told me I look like her idea of Eileen Prince. I said (tongue in cheek) "so I'm a sour-faced, sullen woman then, am I?"
Still, I guess being called "Severus" is a compliment in my book. ;)

Somehow I don't think Severus has mad freckles like I do...
My hair is actually a deep blue-violet in the first one, but as I didn't ever bleach first, it was so dark it looked almost black indoors. I've been considering going dark again, but I don't want to deal with dying the tub pink, which is what happened with the purple dye. I was thinking maybe a warm black or v. dark brown. Cool black looks all wrong on me because my skin tone is "autumnal" (shall we say a bit "sallow"?).
Right now I'm reddish from a dye job at the end of April which now has quite visible roots. Perhaps Lilyness is not my destiny. ;)

Well sure it's not when he's freshly washed. I think he was barely dry in that photo. Lately he's hit on a combination of a certain shampoo and apple cider vinegar which means he can hold off to about two days. Three days is too long and he's getting v. oily by that point. It's an improvement (in terms of convenience) over having to wash every day, though.

Since most of the pictures were head shots (and not THAT head), that particular identifying feature didn't help. :-P The last picture with the two of you makes it obvious which of you is which, but the first ones were rather androgynous in the way they were composed. But now you know why I edited my comment to point out I meant the comparison in a good way: As soon as I posted it, I thought, aw, shit, she's going to think I'm saying she's ugly, which isn't what I meant at all.
What struck me as "Severus-like" was the lines of your face, coupled with the dark hair hanging over your face and the intense expression with which you were gazing at the camera. Your face, angular with high cheekbones and sharply defined jawline, not to mention being slim (damn you!), evokes a much nearer image of a young book!Severus (though I'd have to add a beaky nose and heavier eyebrows to make it Severus) than Alan Rickman's middle-aged moosh, in my mind. Not that I have anything against Alan Rickman, but... you know the drill. ;-) Book vs. Movie and all that.
Well sure it's not when he's freshly washed.
He left his "my hair is freshly washed" sign wherever he left the "i'm the one with teh penis" sign. ;-)

Is there no end to the wonders of apple cider vinegar??? :-D (I used to work in a couple of health food stores, back in the day.)
Loved the pics! You really do have the Snape vibe. I agree with bohemianspirit- the features are so right for a young (yet far prettier version of)Severus. I especially adore the one with you under the cloak; the expression is so devious yet playful: you'd make a fine Death Eater. Do join us at Azkatraz.

Is a prettier Severus still a Severus?
The "cloak" is actually a full pull-over robe, albeit a light cotton one. I don't know if I'd wear it at a Harry Potter convention. It was actually first bought for a genuine spiritual purpose (although never used) so I'd feel bad about that.
