LeChuck took one and rolled it in his hand, eyeing it carefully. “Ye’ve made ‘em better than this before. I do hope ye ain’t losin’ yer touch.”
“No, sir,” Putra said, annoyed, although she didn’t let it show in her tone. He ate it and didn’t say anything else, so Putra concluded he couldn’t have actually disliked it. When he didn’t like something, everyone heard about it and suffered for it.
