fandom_stocking and Yuletide are fab, but both require a lot of digging to find stuff I am interested in reading. For effort vs. reward,

fandom_stocking wasn't so wonderful, but I haven't gotten any reply, even a cursory "Thanks." OTOH, it seems like maybe they entirely forgot that they even had a stocking, since they haven't replied to anyone...

fandom_stocking. It's moved to Dreamwidth, but if you don't have a DW account, it's pretty easy to participate by commenting with OpenID. (Also, I think DW is still not requiring invite codes, so it's pretty trivial to create an account, too.)

When someone requests "Snape/Lily unrequited", it's rude to wilfully misinterpret their likely intent and write it as unrequited love that Lily has for Sev, right? ("Hey, you didn't specify...")

fandom_stocking! I signed up kinda late for this last year but I actually managed to, you know, write something (several somethings actually) as a result. (Which gave me false hope that led into me signing up for Wankfest. Never again the ~~burning times~~ deadlines :P With

fandom_stocking, no one ever knows if you failed to produce something.) Maybe that'll happen again this year; who knows.

I have posted a stocking wishlist at

fandom_stocking. After a brief soul-crushing depressive lapse I am back to not feeling too bad about it, because I think I at least sorta corrected the non-Britishy problems in the ~400-word Sev/Lily ficlet I wrote for someone, and I think I was unreasonably panicking about the ~2250 of Severus/James (! would be one of my preferred pairings if only it weren't so hard to find non-abusive stories; this is the first time I've written it). Added to the pile today, ~700 words of Severus gen.
