Severus Snape 2 by perselus
Sometimes, there's fanart that the canon-hound in me knows is wrong, wrong, wrong. And sometimes, I just don't, don't, don't give a flying rat's arse.
Now that it's August, I turn 33 in three weeks. When did that happen? O.o
Here, have some art recs. All are worksafe. I'm going to fall back on just links because man I cannot be arsed to manually construct the dA links with thumbnails and all right now.
Except this one. Because this one is majestic. I don't know why punky/gothy/metal/emo/simply-inexplicably-rocking-out-on-the-bass Severus pushes my buttons so dang hard but IT SURE DOES.

p.s. Call him Severus already, wouldja? If you're going to be using other people's first names? Especially in this context, otherwise it makes him seem like something very "other" than her and not also a human being who might have deserved to be loved back. I dunno, I am probably being weird here. I mean, I understand if someone has a considered personal reason to prefer sticking to his surname (like![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
logospilgrim) but in most cases I find his naked surname (as opposed to the respectful "Professor Snape") distancing, unsatisfying, saddening somehow. (Maybe it's just that I can't grok how one would not prefer to wrap one's tongue round the much nicer syllables of "Severus", not that "Snape" isn't fun to play with in some other ways.)
