It's a slightly different shot from the usual promo you see. Someone used it in a (bad) photomanip on dA and I just gasped and had to go looking for the original. Thank god for Google's "visually similar to this" image searching.

The lack o' Young Severus in the last movie kind of ruined it for me. Such a cute boy and exactly how I visual the character at that age, what a waste. All I'm hoping for is an extended SWM deleted scene at some point when they keep re-releasing the movie with new features. Doubt it though.

Benedict Clarke was all right, but I cannot buy his nose at all. He doesn't look like the urchin I see in my head in the Prince's Tale, IOW. But I suppose I could believe that he would grow up into Alec Hopkins who in turn would maybe grow up into Alan Rickman, in a sense. They were pretty good at getting that consistent, at least, with the young characters - the teenage Marauders are an atrocity (IMO) but I can totally believe boys who looked like that would grow up to look like the adults we see portrayed by Thewlis, Oldman, Spall and I-can-never-remember-the-name-of-the-bloke-who-plays-James-who-cares-anyway.

Whoops, I meant Alec Hopkins is "such a cute boy".;) I was hoping they'd somehow get more of TPT in their and that they would have used footage shot earlier with Alec. It was a waste of an actor who really did look like the character unlike Rickman and Clarke.

Alas, it was only baby Severus in DH2 and sure cute little kid and all, but didn't read as the character to me. He looked like he belonged in a Gap Kids catalog.

Oh, you still meant Alec Hopkins, like wanting to see more in the Prince's Tale (scene outside the Fat Lady, etc)? Then I totally agree. I am down on Benedict Clarke and of course Alan Rickman, but while Alec Hopkins is not perfect, I find it a very acceptable representation.

We all know they filmed more of SWM and I too hope it isn't lost forever, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't think they ever even scripted more of the Prince's Tale, much less filmed it :-/
