I was looking for Merry Gentry fanart yesterday and came across this rather pretty photomanip of Adrien Brody as a young Severus. Nothing new there; he's practically the poster boy. But what amused me was that I had a nearly identical "concept sketch" sitting around on my hard drive: ( warning: extremely bad black-paintbrush work ahead )

Guess I needn't bother! *chuckles*

I'd say "and hey, I have fourteen others to get around to actually doing" (including some fortuitous ones from I-don't-know-what-movie of him kissing a cute redhead), but I'm sure I'm not the first person to get the urge to 'shop any of those either.

Meh, not too thrilled with this one. I was kind of surprised those pics from the HBP filming didn't get instantly turned into a bajillion icons, but when I tried to make some myself, I saw that there actually wasn't that much to work with. The security guy in the bright yellow-green vest is too close by, and the ones of the body double (including, sadly, that one of him on the cell phone) are too far away and unclear. So I'm not posting it in any comms, meh. Uses a brush by... oh bugger... I don't know without looking at my home Photoshop setup. The other one is the original. Didn't realize how subtle the change was until I looked at them side-by-side. In my brain it was more different. murgle! I think I need lunch.
