Link’s ears drooped just slightly. “What thing?”
“Y’know, the pirate-y sailor thing!” Graham nearly hopped in his place. “Please let me shout it!”
“Considering I have no idea what that thing is, yeah sure.”
“Hee!” Graham jumped and dramatically pointed a finger at the island ahead, with all of its lights glittering against the starry sky and large full moon. A tall mountain with its own light at the top acted as a beacon for the two the closer they got. For an added bonus, and one that Link couldn’t help but wonder if it was in welcoming or mockery, a star shot across the sky.
“Land ho!”

Warnings/Contains: Mentions of canon deaths. Some fluff, a little angst. A few liberties taken with Latin, I'm sure. Unbetaed and unBritpicked.
A/N: Written for shoujo_bubbles in fandom_stocking, here. A bit of an homage to Textualsphinx's To Sever the Lining from a Cloud, a much angstier Severus/Lily that doesn't suffer much for being ten years old (!), and one of my favorites.

I loved the moody colour and how a frightened child grows into a sullen teenager, a disaffected adult, and then a total mystery with his back turned to the viewer. Very simply drawn but quite effective.
